Christmas pictures and more

I just posted a TON of new pictures from Christmas on the kids' blog. Make sure you scroll down because I posted a bunch. There are several posts. The last post from today was "Goth baby." Enjoy!

And I apologize for my lack of blogging. You can blame it on Scrabulous, aka Scrabble-crack!!! I've been playing like a mad woman on there, and I can't seem to tear myself away from it. Thanks Jess, Zoot & several others for helping me feed this addiction. Thanks Jess for letting me beat you and Zoot for keeping me humble.

The shaking can now stop

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!! We were able to spend time with my inlaws for Christmas. They live about 4 hours away, but with 3 small kids, it's closer to 5 to 5 ½ hours. The live in the country and are without wireless internet, so poor Muggle was internetless for 5 whole days!!!! Thank goodness for my Christmas gift, Roller Coaster Tycoon, I was at least able to feed my computer addiction.

Now we are home. The wi-fi is on. The world is good. Whew! That was close!

If you want a lot of hits....

Post a picture of Santa.....or 10.

(Don't miss the blog below. It's new.)

And I finally wrote on my "Feeding My Soul" blog too.

And there is a new slide show of the kids on their blog/

Fairy for hire

Growing up, we had a pretty clean house. My mom was very diligent at keeping everything neat and in order. We accused her being a neat-freak, but she wasn't OCD or anything about it. We had to do our chores every week. She taught us how to clean everything properly. But I think she skipped the whole daily picking up lesson. Either that or my teenage brain forgot to record it. I would rather deep clean that just surface clean any day. I'm terrible about just picking up as I go.

Now that I am grown up (I'm still in denial about this particular issue), my house just isn't as clean. I keep wishing that somehow the house will just be clean. That magically I will wake up and it will all be picked up. No such luck. Did someone forget to hire me a magical cleaning fairy? I thought they just showed up. Well, I need one desperately! So if you know any fairies (I'll even take elves at this point) that are looking for employment, send them my way. I don't pay well, and there is a lot of work to be done, so I'm hoping a job well done will be reward enough. Let me know if you know anyone.

My mom and step-dad came down last weekend for a couple days.  It was so nice to see them!  Mom hadn't been down for over a year.  They were in town for my nephew's baptism.  The first stop (Mom's favorite) was Guadalajara.  Mom LOVES this restaurant, namely their cheese enchiladas.  The girls were so excited to see Nana!

We were also able to spend some time with 2 of my stepsisters. It was a bunch of fun! Look at all our kids!
The kids had a blast trying to pick up one another. I'm just thankful none of them got hurt!Baby G still wasn't completely sure about the Nana.  He warmed up though.
One last mexican food dinner.  This place had the BEST beef fajitas I have ever tasted.  And I don't even like beef fajitas!  I can't wait to go back and eat there again.
It was a fast and furious trip, but a fun one.  It was great to spend time with my step-family.  They are awesome people with super-cute kids!!!  And mommy, I miss you already!

Sorting and Sniffles

The people of kingwoodundergroud (aka KU) are AMAZING!!!!! I have been collecting for this family (see my previous post) and they have overwhelmed me with donations. Their generosity is unending. With this situation especially, I have seen God's hand over and over again. Whenever a need comes up, I hear, "I've had such and such laying around for a few months, and I didn't know what to do with it."

And it is EXACTLY what this family needs. I spent 3 hours in the car today driving around picking up donations for this family. We got a small refrigerator for them, a bassinet for the baby, brand new toys, clothes, shoes, etc. I had more friends come over today to sort and box up the donations. That was another 2 hour task. I am blown away by the generous things that people are doing for this family. People are going out and buying brand new stuff for them. Children are giving what would be their Christmas presents to this family.

I am totally overwhelmed by the size that this project has turned into. What a blessing for this family...and for me. I have been moved to tears several times a day as I see angels come and bless this family. I am so grateful that I get to be a small part of it.

I have been fighting allergies like crazy today. I feel as if my head is trying to blow up through my sinuses. It's a lovely feeling. Oh well! Nothing a little pill can't fix. LOL!

Speedy Virus

I had about an 8 hour virus yesterday afternoon. Me and a couple friends spent the morning sorting through a TON of donations for a needy family, I went in to eat some lunch and it hit me. You know when you get that hot/cold fever rush? That and the nausea. Ugh!!! Luckily, the girls were home from school and took care of me and the baby until my husband could get home. I'm just glad it was a quick moving bug.

I feel like I have a thousand things going on right now. I think my head might explode!!!! I've been organizing relief effort for a mom and 6 kids that were fleeing from an abusive relationship when they were involved in a car accident, where the car burned down with all that they had in it. Our community has come through, once again. The response is amazing and humbling. My garage is full of clothing and toy donations for this family. We spent several hours sorting all the generous donations. We've been trying to find them a place to stay. This whole ordeal makes me so grateful for my wonderful husband and family.

***UPDATE*** Someone went down to the motel they are staying at and paid for the next few nights as well as the room next to them, so they will have plenty of room. There really are angels among us!!!!

And might I add how WRONG it is that it is the middle of DECEMBER and my A/C is running!

Yep, I'm a follower

Since EVERYONE has been doing the elf thingy, I have resisted and refused to do one. But the hubby saw me watching a friend's elfmorphosis and said, "You're going to do one for us, right?"

So baby, here you go. I'll even give you two:

I almost blew it!!!

We were driving around yesterday (I think it was yesterday) when the girls started talking about Christmas. I'm not sure exactly what they were talking about...something about Jesus and Santa. Something that they said, who knows what, needed to be corrected. Well, what do I say?

"Well, Jesus was a real person. Santa is not a real person."

Did those words really just come out of my mouth?

Thank goodness for loud children. K says, "Mom, what did you just say about Santa?"

"I said that Santa is just a regular person."

"A real person that lives at the North Pole," she said.

Whew! That was a close one!

Yoga and Santa

I went to my first yoga class today with my friend. As a rule, I don't exercise. I've never needed to for weight control. Thanks to my mom, I got nice, skinny, petite genes. But I am out of shape, I'm constantly tired and I need to get my butt in gear...literally!!! So I have adopted my friend, Lara, to by my exercise slave-driver. I have no self-motivation. I need to be forced to do things. It was an hour long class and I loved it!!! It was relaxing and quite a workout. It was my kind of exercise....stretching and bending and such. And now I am sore, but it's all good.

I've been organizing a Secret Santa project here for a local family. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. We are getting everything ready to deliver later in the week, and I can't wait! The people in the community have been so generous and giving. Just tonight, someone anonymously left a bunch of new toys for the kids in the family on my front porch. Wow!!! The community has really pulled together to give this family a Christmas to remember. It touches my heart so much!

Split personalities

In my blogging world, I have 3 different persona's you might say. I have just me. That is this blog. Then I have the mommy-me which is on the kids' blog, and then I have the spiritual-me which is on my "Feeding My Soul" blog. Why do I find it easier to separate them out like that? I have no clue, but it works for me. Maybe I really do have split personalities???

But I guess it fits with how I am. I am very adaptable. I can pretty much fit into any situation and show the side of my personality that fits in that environment. Not that I'm being fake or facetious by any means. But we all know I'm crazy anyways, so what does it really matter!

And if I don't have enough internet addictions, I just created a Facebook page. I know I have a problem! :P

It's my birthday

Today is the first year I will be 29. I don't plan on turning 30, so from now on, you only need to remember that I am 29. See how easy I am making this on you? You're welcome. Yesterday I had a super fun lunch with a bunch of my friends at Joe's Crab Shack. There were about 30 of us there. We all know each other through a local message board,, also known as KU. It was great! There were about 5 or 6 of us that had birthdays this week, so we thought it would be fun to celebrate all together. One of our friends gave us a really cute gift bag with a bunch of little goodies:

Candle- Because you a candle of light on KU
Tissue-for those heart breaking threads on KU
Money- Because you are worth you weight in gold on KU
Lea Light- Something good to smell while you are on KU.
Chap stick- for when someone chaps your butt on KU.
Lotion- to keep your hands hea;thy while you are on KU
Cute pencil- to use to write down all of those special dates on KU
Note pad- to have something to write them on.
Nail Polish- something to do when the threads are boring on KU
Tooth Paste- Just because we cant smell your breath doesnt mean that the people around you cant
Tampon-to plug it up and slap on your big girl panties when someone desagrees with you on KU

It was so thoughtful and cute! Then another friend that couldn't make it, but sent gag gifts, and gave us all adult toys!!!!!! We about died!!!!!! We were all cracking up and it provided many laughs and jokes! And if you've never been to Joe's Crab Shack for a birthday, you are missing out! They LOVE to humiliate the birthday guest. Luckily, there were a bunch of us, so we all got to be embarrassed together. Yours truly had to wear a huge trash bag as a diaper! Check out the video. And the slide show is a few pics from the lunch. We are all addicted to our little message board, KU. You can see pictures of several of us checking it at lunch.

Slide Show of Pictures:

Video of Humiliation Parade

So that was all yesterday. VERY hard to top because it was an absolute riot!

So today, my real birthday, has started off not so hot. I was greeted with an early morning visitor, Aunt Flo. Good thing Cousin Playtex was just down the hall. Ugh! I know you were all dying to hear that, but you know what? IT'S MY BIRTHDAY AND MY BLOG SO DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!

Tonight I have a date with my husband. We're going to dinner. We haven't had a date since March!!! We need to get out more! For my birthday gift, we are joining our local YMCA. Don't worry, it was my idea. In honor of my birthday, I think I will stay in my pajamas all day and be a total bum. Happy birthday to me!

Cookie dough anyone?

Our church is hosting a Nativity Exhibit and Music Festival this weekend, as they do every year. As usual, I signed up to make my delicious chocolate chip cookies. Well, they are not really "mine." I got the recipe from a friend. But back to the story. I have to turn in 4 dozen cookies today or tomorrow. No problem. This recipe makes about 7-8 dozen. It's a nice big recipe.

Well, Baby G woke up with a slight fever this morning and was pretty cranky, but nothing major. I gave him some baby Advil, put him down for a nap and got to work on my assignment of cookie making. I got everything mixed up except for 2 of the 5 cups of flour and the chocolate chips when G wakes up. I cover the dough and put it in the fridge. His fever was much higher, around 102. This is with the Advil being in his system for 2 hours. He won't stop crying and is burning up. I sit with him and within 10 minutes, his temperature had jumped up to 104. I call the doctor and they are able to get us in right away. We head to the doctor and it is a mild ear infection with a virus on top. Well, a couple doses of antibiotics, Advil and Tylenol, and he is feeling MUCH better! Fever is gone and he's back to throwing his little tantrums.

And back to the cookie dough....

I mix in the remaining flour and chocolate chips and bake up a batch. Not good. They came out very flat and ugly. And I'm stuck here with a HUGE bowl of cookie dough. Whatever shall, I do with it all? Hmmm.....guess I'll grab a glass of milk and a big ol' spoon!

We had a nice Thanksgiving as a family. My father-in-law came down to visit and we loved spending time with him. I cooked up a mean Thanksgiving feast. (You would have been proud, Mom!) I cooked my turkey in an oven bag and it came out delicious! The outside was crispy and brown and the inside was moist and delicious. I made Grandma's dressing, and it came out well too. Pumpkin pie, brownies (FIL's request), turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (only eaten by me), and rolls.

The girls have been singing some really cute Thanksgiving songs. I need to record them and post them. They crack me up!

Baby G has learned how to have a temper. And let me tell you, I don't like it! He is throwing a fit at every little thing! He gets upset and then likes to drop his head to the floor. If he's really mad, he won't control it and give his head a good ::BONK::, just to aggrivate the crying. When he remembers that it hurts when he plops his head down, he'll do it slowly or pound is legs up and down. (All done in a sitting position). I guess my sweet baby is gone...welcome to terrible twos (11 months early!)

I plead the Fifth!

I am a Super Mario lover. I have been since I played my very first Nintendo back in the 80's. I spent a lot of time as a kids mastering Super Mario Brothers. I could get through the whole game without warping. I think I even saved the princess without dying once one time. And the Turtle Tap! What a gem!!! Gotta love a TON of lives!

But I was old school Mario. I tried to play Super Mario 64 and got nauseous with the new 3D technology. I was also a teenager, much more interested in dating than playing video games. I missed the whole N64 and Gamecube phases. So when we got our Nintendo Wii, I was ecstatic that I could download my original Super Mario Brothers. I even was able to do the Turtle Tap again....check out the blog. What was even greater was their new Virtual Console release of Super Mario Brothers: The Lost Levels.

Well, Toys 'R' Us had a great deal on this new Wii game, Super Mario Galaxy. If you bought the game, you received a $25 TRU gift card. Not a bad deal at all. So I went and got my Super Mario Galaxy game, along with my $25 gift card. Then I went and got the new High School Musical Sing It game.  I wanted to check out the Super Mario Galaxy and see how to play it.  I am now addicted.  And the stupid Wii keeps a time log of how long you play each game.  I kid you not....I played for 7 hours yesterday!!!!  Not a solid 7 hours, but on and off (okay, mostly on) throughout the day.  I guess that would explain my sore thumb.  And I almost got busted when my oldest daughter got home from school.  I can't let them see it since it's for their Christmas present!!!  So if you haven't tried out the game, it is WAY fun and easy to learn.  You can play with 2 people where player 1 is the main player and player 2 is a helper.  Great excuse for me to play with my kids!

Tonight, we're "testing" the High School Musical game.  And don't worry....I already know all the words.

It's a sad day...

when it is 10:00pm, the kids are in bed, you are in bed, flipping through the channels and you stop on the Disney channel and watch an entire Hannah Montana episode. What's even sadder is when your husband has the remote and the situation described above happens.

I'm not feeling witty

So here is my grocery shopping report for the week.

Store #1:
Total: $94.02
Actually Paid: $23.02
Saved: $71.00 76%

(Would have been a little bit better, but I forgot to separate out my orders.)

Store #2:
Total: $109.02
Actually Paid: $0.00
Saved: $109.02 100%

So overall, would have been $203.04 and I only paid $23.04.

The only benefit of having a chronically sick kid is that you can get free money at the grocery store with prescription coupons. Kroger will accept competitor's coupons (like $30 CVS ones) and my Kroger will take them for ANY prescription. Nice. I know how to work it!

Feeding my soul

For those that read my spiritual thought blog, "Feeding My Soul," I have finally posted again. If you haven't check it out, feel free. It is basically a blog of my daily (well, week-daily) scripture or spiritual study and thoughts. It's not really well written, but more of a record for myself of my thoughts, questions, etc.

Light Speed

The past year has been SO fast!!!! I can't believe my baby is one today!!! Happy birthday Bubba Chubs! He even has his own thread on my local message board full of birthday wishes. So sweet!

Basically, I rock

So I went grocery shopping today, something that I must say has become quite a talent. It felt good to be in my element again at the grocery stores. I don't know what I would do if we have to move where they don't double and triple coupons. So here is the breakdown:

Store #1
Total: $249.51
Paid: $39.12
Saved: $210.39
And I even got a coupon for $5 off my next purchase and another coupon for a free box of kleenex.
Store #2
Total: $100.66
Paid: $0.00
Saved: $100.66

Gotta love those prescription rewards! Nothing like free money!!!!

Oh, and for those that do use the prescription coupons, Target is no longer accepting competitor's coupons. :( Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Muggle's on the mend

Holy cow! What a week! I am feeling quite a bit better today, thank goodness! Who knew passing a stone could be so traumatic?!?! I'm almost caught up on laundry and the cleaning is WAY behind. Well, that's not really honest. The cleaning situation is pretty much what it always is.....non-existant. I like to try and blame it on not feeling well all week, but in reality, it's always like this. So who am I kidding?

Friday, November 2, 2007

I am slowly feeling better. I added lots of pics on the kids' blog. I hope to get some rest this weekend, so next week I can be back to my normal routine.

The kidney report

Well, there is good news and there is bad news. Bad news first: Once your kidneys make stones, they don't stop. Good news: I can still drink an occasional Dr. Pepper. Woohoo!

I saw the urologist today. She said that I had very small stones in my left kidney (the one that passed the first stone) and the beginnings of stones in my right kidney. She said that if your kidneys form a stone, they will continue to form them. Lovely. Thanks for those genes, Dad!

But you can control them for the most part with diet. So I have to drink 2 liters of water a day along with 2 ounces of lemon juice.I also have to watch my protein intake, which isn't too hard since I'm not a big meat person. Sodium is the enemy....less than 1000mg per day. She told me that I could drink my Dr. Pepper, but I have to match it with water. So if I drink a 20 oz. DP, I have to drink 20 oz. water. I can do that.

The pain and discomfort I have been feeling since my epsiode are thanks to the 1/2 cm stone I passed. She said that passing a stone is very traumatic on the body. No kidding! She said that I will have soreness and cramping for about another week. The goal now is to shrink the current stones so that when they pass they are more like sand than stones.

I go back in 6 months for a CT scan and a check of how my stones are doing (or even better, not doing). Looks like just more rest for me until I'm healed. Thank goodness for my laptop!

Tuesday, October 30, 2007

One down, one to go

The first kidney stone passed this morning without too much discomfort or pain...thank goodness! (Don't worry...I won't post a picture of it.) I still have the stone in my kidney. I haven't had anymore painful episodes. I will hopefully know more after my doctor appointment tomorrow. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and concern. :) I have had so many people helping me out, from watching my kids, picking up and taking to school, being on-call while my hubby was at work, and even grocery shopping for me! WOW!

What a way to end the weekend

I started having menstural-like cramps around 4 or 5pm. They started to get worse, and I thought that it might be an ovarian cyst that was bursting. (That hurts pretty bad too). The pain continued to get worse and worse. It was hurting WAY worse than any childbirth contractions I had ever experienced.

My husband called a friend and arranged to drop the kids off so he could take me to the hospital. We first went to Hospital #1 since it was the closest. We went in and there were about 50-75 people in the waiting room. Hubby was not waiting, so put me back in the car and drove down to Hospital #2.

There was no one in the waiting room and we got right in. I was screaming like a banshee! I was in so much pain. I have NEVER felt pain like that before. I even threw up twice from the pain. It took a little time to get into a room and see a doctor. Once I saw the doctor, they were able to give me some pain medication. I felt much better after that, but I was freezing cold from the cold IV fluid. I even felt good enough to take a couple pics of me drugged up and my husband patiently waiting. Lovely pics!

They took me in for an MRI and found 2 kidney in my kidney and one stuck at the entrance to my bladder. So I got sent home with some pain meds, a funnel with a strainer to catch the stone, and an order to see a urologist.

Now I am just tired, sore and waiting for the first stone to pass. I am drinking a lot of water. No more Dr Pepper for me for awhile. :( And I'm drinking lemon juice to help dissolve the stone in my kidney. Lucky for me, we have a lemon tree in the backyard. My husband is taking a few days off work to take care of me and the kids. I

What a day!

I have been SUPER tired lately...who knows why. (No bun in the oven). My sweet husband let me sleep in this morning. I didn't wake up until I got a call from my friend, Tracy at 10:45! I couldn't believe I had slept in so late! Well, after I finished the phone call, I quickly got dressed and headed downstairs. Hubby and the kids had cleaned pretty much the whole downstairs! (And is was a MESS!) What a nice surprise!

After we ate, we headed out to the garage to clean it out. The girls were great helpers and the baby was really cooperative as well. We got the whole thing cleaned out, with a carload of Goodwill stuff and an embarrassing amount of trash. I can now pull my big SUV into the garage. That's the first time in over 6 months. Yikes! We treated ourselves to a little Texas BBQ for dinner. It was so good! Then we had to hit our local Petco because we had a "25% off any saltwater fish" coupon burning a hole in our pocket. So we got a lobster, a coral and an anemone. Pictures to come later. Time for a nap!

For my love

My sweet husband wanted me to post some updated pictures of his tank. He has gotten a lot more live rock to fill it up. It is looking really nice. There are also a few pics of Gozilla, our very large brittle starfish, on the move. Sorry there are so many shots, but I have to make sure I get one that the hubby is happy with.

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

I really don't worry about many things. I'm not a "what if-er" by any means. That is my husband's job. But there is one thing that, I guess, I am afraid of since it keeps showing up in my dreams. The dream is me and various members of my family in the car somehow driving off the road into deep water. The water comes up so fast that I can't get the windows down to get out. I usually have a kid or two strapped into a car seat that I have to get out before they drown, and of course I wake up before I know if we were able to save the kids. So after the first of these dreams, I asked my sweet husband if he could get me a thingy to break the window if I needed to, so he got me this nifty gadget. And after my dream last night, I am putting it in a better place! In my dream last night, I knew I had the glass breaker thingamagig, but couldn't find it. Very frustrating! Needless to say, I was awake for an hour or two.

Tuesday, October 23, 2007

What is my deal?

It is 2:04 PM and I am still in my pajamas. I haven't eaten lunch yet and need a nap. I have been somewhat productive today...I have done a couple loads of laundry, I got the front-facing car seat out of the attic along with some toys for the baby. I printed off my recipes for my frozen meal exchange tonight. And that's about it. Oh, I did watch a video on the new Mac operating system, Leopard. It looks SO cool!!!!

I was overdue

We were running around doing errands today when we were rearended at a traffic light. Thank goodness I have a gas-guzzling SUV, so there was no damage to us or the truck. But her poor little Civic had a square hole in the bumper from our trailer hitch. It was a young teenage girl. I felt bad for her. The hubby tells me, "Well, at least you have something to blog about."

"But it wasn't very exciting. All of my blogs have to be thrilling and/or interesting."

"All of them?"

"Yes!" I said, scandalized. "Every post I make is spectacular!"

"Uh-huh," he said, unimpressed.

Dishwashing wars

I've never really had a dishwashing soap preference. I've always just bought was was cheapest, usually the store brand. Then comes the Grocery Game, and I start buying name brand stuff, usually Electrasol and then some Cascade. So I have been using the Electrasol, either in tablet form or the gel in the bottle and it's been okay. This is dishwashing good can it be, right? And I've always been a pretty good pre-rinser anyways. I guess that is a habit that you form when you don't have the top-notch dishwashers.

So I had gotten some of the Cascade Action packs. I used a couple bags of them. Then I ran out and had a bottle of the Electrasol gel with Jet Dry. Holy Cow!!!!!!!!!!!! It sucks! It leaves those annoying little grainy remnants on everything when the cycle is done. It doesn't get anything that is remotely stuck on off. What the heck? So now I know that dishwashing soap does make a difference. Who knew!?!?!

Now what am I supposed to do with the 20 boxes of Electrasol tablets I have? (And don't you think that I am even exaggerating).

Back to business

Well, after some strong antibiotics and a lot of rest (thanks honey!), I am functional. I'm not all the way better, but at least I've gotten dressed today. I have my voice back too! Woohoo! Now I have a huge mess to clean from being sick for several days. Time to put that chore calendar to the test! Thank you for all of your concerns and well-wishes. :)

Sick muggle update

Just in case you cared....I am still sick. I did go to the doctor this morning and got some antibiotics and decongestants. My dear, sweet hubby even took the day off Friday to take care of me and the kiddos. What a guy! I'm just hoping I'm better by Monday.

A Cleaning Update

My system is working pretty well, but today I'm sick. So I'll just have to move all my stuff to tomorrow and Saturday I guess. I got all my bathrooms cleaned and my kitchen scrubbed down. I just hope I get better quickly because mom's don't get a sick day. :(

Tuesday, October 9, 2007

I am absolutely terrible at organizing my time. I don't have a problem keeping appointments and such, but rather making time for tasks that I don't much care for, but that need to be done. One of these things, okay a LOT of these things fall into the "cleaning" category. I know how to clean. Very well in fact. My mother taught all of us how to clean pretty much every inch of a home. And while I was a kid, with the threat of grounding, I was pretty good at doing my assigned chores. (I might not have always had the best attitude about them, but not being able to go out with my friends was motivation enough for me to get them done.)

So fast forward 10-15 years to the present time. Mom isn't around to ground me from going out with my friends if the chores are not done. If I want to go out, I do whether the dishes are done or not or whether the floor is shiny and clean. I do like a clean house, it's just getting there and staying there that seems to be my problem. This is when I wished I had just a tad of OCD. Guess I'll just have to settle for my ADD and make the most of it.

So I had a mini-revelation that I think will help me in my struggles. I am a VERY visual learner. I don't do well in the abstract. I need to be able to see stuff and move it around. So I came up with the idea to have moveable chore tabs that I can move around on my calendar. Now I can actually see in writing what needs to get done. I can move it to a new day when it is completed. Or I can move it if I ran out of time that day. But at the end of the week, there will be certain things that I have to get done. I'm just hoping that my Friday doesn't end up being full of chores.

I am hoping that this will help me be better at not wasting time. We shall see. Wish me luck!

Brenda ROCKS!!!!!

She really does! She came over today, and not only did she brighten my day with her company, she help me clean my house! Okay, so she did most of the cleaning. So now my house is sparkly and clean, and my hubby even noticed that it was clean. He just laughed when I told him Brenda came over. During the summer we hung out pretty much everyday and the hubby always could tell when we had been hanging out at our house because it was clean. He would ask if Brenda had been over that day. So Brenda, THANK YOU for all of your help, and thank you most of all for your friendship!

For Super Mario Bros Fans

If you have a Wii, you have to download the newest addition to the Virtual Console. It's called Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels. It was a game only released in Japan. It is like a really cool cousin to Super Mario Brothers. It is a totally different game though. So if you know every hidden object and every secret passage-way, then this is the game for you! I've only played it a couple times, but I haven't gotten past stage 1-2! Guess you all know what I'll be doing for the next few days....

Police and Pasta

While I was out this morning, a group of mounted police officers rode up. It was so exciting! Baby G loved it! The horses liked me. I got squished inbetween 2 very large horses.

For lunch I met with some friends for a little italian food. YUMMY! But the restaurant was very strict and would only take 1 of our coupons. But we all had a TON of fun and laughed like crazy!
